AI Roundtable

A monthly virtual discussion hosted by Agentic Assets on current AI trends, effective AI adoption, and the tools, strategies, and real-world applications creating value across industry and academia.

What the roundtable is

The AI Roundtable meets monthly and runs virtually. It is a working conversation rather than a webinar: people bring what they have actually tried, including what did not work, and the group takes it apart together. Sessions are hosted by Agentic Assets, the AI company founded by finance professors Dr. Cayman Seagraves and Dr. Stace Sirmans.

Who it is for

All experience levels, deliberately. Registration asks where you sit so sessions can be pitched to the room:

  • Beginner or curious: just starting out
  • Intermediate: you have used AI tools and concepts
  • Advanced: a daily user, possibly developing or researching
  • Executive or strategy: focused on AI implementation and business impact

What gets discussed

Topics are set by what registrants ask for. The recurring ones:

  • Current AI trends and breakthroughs, including LLMs and generative AI
  • Specific AI tools, tips, and tricks
  • Effective AI prompt engineering strategies
  • AI workflow integration: using it effectively in professional life
  • AI agents and agentic AI
  • Ethical AI and governance
  • Challenges and failures: what has not worked
  • The future of AI and predictions

How sessions run

Format varies by session and is shaped by what registrants rate as most valuable:

  • Interactive Q&A sessions
  • Structured presentations of new tools
  • Open-forum discussion and brainstorming
  • Real-world case studies and demos

Attendees can opt to present something of their own, or simply listen and join the discussion. Registration also asks which meeting time works best. After you register, we follow up with the details for the next session.
